Fantastic result against a good team! Still one or two things we could improve on- Cardiff seemed between than us at 'setting up shop' in our end, whether we were on the PK or not, but we look a lot better at the back. Am predicting great things from the Dziurzynski, Bissonnette and Trabucco line (weirdly my phone already has saved their names in predictive text, think it's coz I follow them on Twitter...). Much better on the PK too. Only *slight* concern was a lack of goals from the other lines. Very happy though!

Agree with you there, I'm gonna reserve my over all judgment till we're a month in tho. But so far things look promising.

Very good performance last night, Clemente looked solid again. Defence looks good, but at the same time the Devils forward lines really didn't click at all. The Dziuzynski-Bissonnette-Trabucco line looks good, but the Cartier-Heatley-Valcak line isn't quite there yet - Heatley shows flashes of good ping but I don't think we're seeing his potential yet, Valcak has also been good in flashes. I like the look of Cartier though. I don't think Neilson-Dicking-Prince/Harding line is going to get many goals this season, so that puts the pressure on the other lines to score the goals.
Great entertainment last night, I spent a lot of the game on edge because of the pressure that the Devils had, it was so good when the 3rd & 4th goals went in! Also, a really good atmosphere as well and I like the jerseys a lot more now that I've seen them in the flesh (so to speak!). The only downside of the evening I felt was the new intro video, I felt it was a bit too slow and too long to really get me ready for the game.

In the last week, am I correct in saying that the Storm have beaten the Steelers & the Devils for the first time since they joined the Elite League? I think it's also the first time that Omar has ever beaten the Steelers as a coach (including Hull)

I think it's also the first time that Omar has ever beaten the Steelers as a coach (including Hull) Dunno about the Pach question, but the wins against the Steelers and Devils were our first ever. While the Steelers one was good, they had their back up goalie in and didn't put out a full strength team, so in some ways the Cardiff win was more impressive.

The Devil's win means a lot as they are always up there. A big team as well playing 4 line hockey. I think the lines will start to really gel in another couple of weeks. Clemente is a more aggressive NM than Zane and this is helping. Darian is going to be a star and definitely knows where the net is.
You cannot discount the crowd either I think the players definitely feed of that
